Flood
Repairs – City Violation. Compliance
date is March 4, 2013. Someone dropped off to the city of Miami Beach
building department a flood insurance claim dated 2009. Based on that
claim the city assumed that the association did some work without
pulling any permit and is asking to bring the alleged work to code.
On 1/3/2013 the manager Sonia Conserva contacted Sweet Claim
Insurance Adjuster and she was told that they didn’t submit
anything because it’s illegal. Immediately after the manager
contacted Pallant Insurance and she was told that they had no reason
to do that. We can still ask for an extension with the city of Miami
Beach and call an engineer to inspect the building, prove that no
work was done and sign off a report. If we are not able resolve this
with an engineer then we’ll contact the association attorney. -Penn Manor Condominium Website
